How do I create a trip?

Creating a trip on Simtik starts with your plan.

If you have an idea of what you want in mind, booking on Simtik is as easy as filling out these options: 

1. Departure and Destination - In the “Departing From” space, enter where you’d like to leave from. In the “Destination” space, enter where you’d like to travel to.

2. Number of Travelers - In the “Number of Travelers” enter how many people you’re making traveling arrangements for.

3. Dates of Travel

  • Next to the words “Departure Date” there is a little picture of a calendar. If you click it, a calendar will open in your browser. On the calendar, select the date you’d like to leave for your trip.
  • Next to the words “Return Date” there is an identical calendar icon. On this calendar, select the date you’d like to return by.
  • If your departure and return dates are flexible, check the box next to the words “I am flexible” underneath the words “Return Date”.

4. Budget

  • Value - You want to save money wherever you can, or you just want to get where you’re going.
  • Comfort - You want to travel comfortably, with a number of amenities.
  • Luxury - You want just about any luxuries and amenities that are available for your trip.

5. Add Accommodations

  • Hotel - You’re looking to book a hotel for your trip.
  • Car Rental - You need a rental car for your trip.
  • Unique Amenities - You want to see what your destination has to offer. Agents can pitch some unique amenities that they have access to.

6.Trip Description - Give agents a personalized idea of what you’re looking for. Include any details that you think are important that aren’t covered by the other options. Write a bit about yourself so agents can get a better idea of what you might be interested in.
