In order to become a broker, each applicant must have their information extensively verified through SIMTIK. We do this so that you can be sure that when you make a trade, it ’ s with a real person who has already been checked by SIMTIK.
Once approved to be a broker, there are rules that all users must follow:

If a user asks another to pay outside of SIMTIK , their account may be suspended or permanently banned.

If a n agent attempts to deliver to a traveler anything other than what was agreed upon , their account may be suspended or permanently banned.

If a user attempts to extort or in any other way take advantage of another user, their account will be instantly banned and they will never be able to make an account on SIMTIK again.

If a user abuses or harasses another in any way, their account may be suspended or permanently banned.

If a user is reported by another for suspicious behavior , the incident will be investigated. If a user is reported for suspicious behavior 3 or more times , their account will be flagged for close monitoring by the SIMTIK security team.
Safety
The information you provide SIMTIK is protected by SIMTIK ’ s privacy policy and transmitted using SSL, which is the same secure encryption that websites use to transmit credit card numbers.
Any information from government issued ID ’ s is automatically encryption protected. Unless there ’ s an issue, you will only have to verify your ID once. For countries with knowledge-based authentication, we don ’ t store the questions or your answers.
Only a small number of SIMTIK employees are authorized to access your original documentation, for troubleshooting or internal purposes.
Our third-party partners store information according to our written instructions and Privacy Policy.
Respect
The SIMTIK community can only stay healthy when users respect each other.
Abuse and harassment of any kind is strictly prohibited in every area of the site, and may result in an account suspension or permanent ban.

Communication
Good communication between users is vital to successful trading.
Users can use SIMTIK ’ s smart messaging to negotiate trades, discuss the market, or just chat. Trading is a social activity, so don ’ t be surprised if you make a few friends along the way.
Make sure to stay on top of your messages! If you take too long to respond to a user you ’ re currently in negotiation with, you may be reported and investigated for failure to communicate . If you ’ re reported for failure to communicate 3 or more times , your account will be flagged for close monitoring by the SIMTIK security team.
If you will be unavailable for an extended period, be sure to inform anyone you ’ re currently in negotiation with.
On the other side , if you are having difficulty reaching a trade partner, be patient ! Brokers from all over the world use SIMTIK. Your trade partner may be from a different timezone, or they may be busy.
Patience
You’ re not always going to get the trades you want. Don ’ t get frustrated!
The marketplace is always moving. If you can ’ t get what you want out of the marketplace right away, keep your eye on the market. The best trade you ’ re ever going to make may be just around the corner.
